Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a reliable, compassionate part-time caregiver to provide personalized in-home support for a senior client in the Weatherford area. This role offers a flexible schedule and a chance to make a meaningful difference in daily life.

Responsibilities include personal care, companionship, medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed. CNA certification is preferred but not required; valid driver’s license and vehicle required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of senior caregiving experience in an agency, facility, or private-care setting.
• CNA certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds.
• Dementia care experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a home with small dogs.
• Dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Able to communicate scheduling updates by phone, text, or email.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Helping with personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Offering medication reminders.
• Preparing meals and basic meal planning assistance.
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes.
• Providing transportation to appointments and errands when needed.
• Encouraging independence while ensuring safety and dignity.
• Communicating changes to the office team.
• Following the client’s Plan of Care.
• Supporting family members as needed.
