Job summary

Comfort Keepers is looking for dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide personalized in-home support to seniors in the Weatherford, TX (76086) area. If you enjoy helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive difference in someone's daily life, we'll love to hear from you.

As a caregiver, you may provide a combination of companionship and hands-on assistance based on each client’s individual care plan.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience providing care to seniors through an agency, facility, or private-duty setting.
• CNA certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• Ability to safely lift at least 25 pounds.
• Dementia or Alzheimer's care experience is a plus.
• Comfortable working in homes with small dogs and cats.
• Ability to remain responsive to calls, texts, and emails regarding scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Spending time with clients and providing companionship.
• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Helping clients maintain personal hygiene and daily routines.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Preparing meals and assisting with basic meal planning.
• Completing light household tasks such as laundry, changing linens, and tidying.
• Accompanying clients to appointments or helping with errands.
• Providing safe mobility and transfer assistance as needed.
• Following the client’s established care plan.
• Communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate office team member.
• Supporting families by providing dependable and compassionate care.
