Job summary

Community Living & Support Services is seeking a Direct Care Worker for part-time in-home support in the Wexford area. You will provide non-medical services to adults with disabilities and seniors according to each client's plan of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, meal prep, housekeeping, transportation, and documenting tasks in EVV. You will work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, and report any safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working directly with individuals with disabilities.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical in-home services to eligible adults per the plan of care.
• Conduct one-on-one in-home ADL: transfers, bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming.
• Assist with IADLs: meal prep, shopping, transportation, appointments, communication needs.
• Provide housekeeping: laundry, linens, cleaning, dishes, floors.
• Use EVV system for billing and record-keeping.
• Notify supervisor of EVV issues.
• Follow CLASS policies to ensure safety.
• Report abuse, falls, injuries, ER visits to supervisor.
• Attend trainings and respond to emails.
