Job summary

Imagination ABA Therapy, a BCBA-owned provider in New Jersey, is seeking a Behavior Technician to deliver evidence-based ABA therapy under BCBA supervision to children with autism and related developmental needs. This role involves data collection, implementing behavior plans, and working closely with families and a multidisciplinary team.

The position is part-time with flexible hours and requires reliable transportation to client homes, schools, and community settings.

Qualifications

• RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities, preferably in an ABA setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client homes, schools, and other settings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement and modify behavior plans as needed, ensuring that therapeutic goals are met and progress is measured.
• Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors, using this information to inform treatment decisions and track progress.
• Provide ongoing support and coaching to clients and their families, empowering them to generalize skills and maintain progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of therapy sessions, including client data, progress notes, and treatment plans.
