Job summary

CVS Health is seeking District Support Pharmacists to cover scheduling gaps across our stores in the district, reporting to the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will travel within the district to support pharmacy teams and ensure smooth operations.

This role involves supervising pharmacy staff, ensuring safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations while complying with federal and state laws and CVS policies. Part-time hours and travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Oversee pharmacy operations and serve as proxy for Pharmacy Manager during shifts.
• Ensure safe dispensing, counseling and immunization practices in the district.
• Assist with team development and patient care coordination across stores.
• Maintain compliance with federal/state laws and CVS Health policies.
