Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist (DSP) in Massachusetts to cover pharmacy scheduling gaps and support the pharmacy teams. You will help ensure safe dispensing, immunizations, and high-quality patient care across stores in the district.

As a part-time DSP, you may travel within the district to fill shifts, under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, while maintaining compliance with all regulations and CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Living our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
• Traveling the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled by the District Performance Coordinator (DPC).
• Supporting safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflows and safety guardrails.
• Assumes Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty.
• Contributing to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and coaching the team to do the same.
