Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions to create a positive experience.
• Verify physician orders and imaging procedures for accuracy.
• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per protocols and safety standards.
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Utilize the RIS to document and facilitate patient care.
• Complete quality control procedures and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support department operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized imaging environment.
