Job summary

Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Identity Proofing for a part-time role. You will manage visitor entry, verify credentials, issue badges, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents.

Responsibilities include responding to access-related concerns with care, communicating clearly with employees and guests, and following site-specific policies. A minimum of one year security experience and a college degree are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year security-related experience required.
• College degree required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while carrying out access control procedures.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs and report discrepancies.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner and document activities.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate observed concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
