HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast is seeking a Part-Time ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in Pasadena, TX. The role supports MICU, SICU, CVICU, Neuro, and Trauma platforms with high-acuity, life-saving care on a rotating weekend schedule.

The facility holds a provisional Level III Trauma Center status with a dedicated cath lab, Level III NICU, Primary Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center accreditation, reflecting award-winning patient safety and clinical outcomes.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current BLS, and ACLS issued from American Heart Association required
• NIHSS Stroke certification required
• 1 year of clinical Critical Care ICU experience as a licensed RN in a hospital required

Responsabilidades

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates age-appropriate ICU nursing care, including interdisciplinary discharge planning.
• Continuously monitors patient status, documents nursing interventions and condition changes, escalates concerns as needed.
• Administers medications safely and accurately per hospital policies and laws regarding controlled substances.
• Carries out medical orders, assists physicians with examinations, tests, and bedside procedures; adheres to infection control and universal precautions.
• Respects patient privacy and coordinates patient and family education with verified understanding.
• Maintains licensure and participates in performance improvement initiatives to elevate safety and outcomes.

Formação académica

RN licensure in Texas or multi-state compact (Texas license within 90 days)

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
