Job summary

Delta Center is seeking a part-time Ice Operations position at the Utah Mammoth practice facility in Sandy, UT. You will maintain and operate a fast, hard ice surface and may assist during NHL game days at Delta Center.

Compensation is $20/hour with responsibilities spanning rink upkeep, practice setup, and event support. Ideal candidates have ice resurfacing experience, ability to pass a drug test, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must pass an MVR screening.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Previous ice rink experience recommended.
• Rink certifications encouraged.
• Minimum 2 years operating ice resurfacing equipment and related machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate ice resurfacer to maintain a fast, hard, and smooth surface.
• Set up NHL team practices and events; ensure nets, holes, and peg holes are prepared.
• Maintain ice resurfacing equipment and related machines (blade changes, greasing, cleaning).
• Prepare and maintain nets, glass, and boards; assist with glass changes as needed.
• Assist in building operations and interact with the public positively during events.
• Support Delta Center game day operations including cleanup and intermission tasks.
