Job summary

United Dairy Farmers is seeking an Ice Cream Specialist for part-time work in Milford, OH. You will hand-make hand-dipped cones, shakes and malts, and handle food service items while ensuring safe, ethical operations during your shift.

The role calls for excellent guest service, accurate cash handling, stock rotation, and compliance with store policies. Must be at least 16 years old and able to work any of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English well enough to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to see well enough to operate store equipment, including POS terminal, gas console, and to read price books and IDs.
• Ability to raise at least 10 pounds from floor level to a height of 5 feet.
• Ability to tolerate temperatures as low as –30 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 2 minutes.

Responsibilities

• Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience with a warm, authentic greeting and helpful service.
• Prepare DipSide items: shakes, malts, cones, sundaes and other hand-packed items.
• Operate POS and gas console accurately, handling transactions and coupons.
• Maintain shelves, freezers and dip cabinets; rotate stock and check dates.
• Monitor shop area for safety and security; follow cash handling procedures.
• Keep the store clean and equipment temperatures within safe ranges; report issues.
• Complete time records and follow Customer First documentation; perform other duties as needed.
