Qualifications

  • Faculty teaching undergraduate courses: doctorate or master's degree in the teaching discipline or master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
  • Faculty teaching graduate courses: earned doctorate / terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
  • UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree in the discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and/or updating course syllabus, preparation of lectures, projects, or other student assignments.
  • Meeting all designated class periods and maintaining office hours.
  • Grading student assignments and exams in a timely manner; submitting progress reports and final grades according to university regulations.
