Job summary

Barry University invites applications for part-time clinical supervisor roles to teach undergraduate nursing students in clinical settings or our Simulation Learning Center on the main campus. Candidates must hold an MSN and an active Florida RN or APRN license, with clinical expertise in Med Surg, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, High Acuity, Foundations, or Community.

Qualifications

• MSN degree required.
• Active, unencumbered Florida RN or APRN license.
• Solid clinical background in one or more specified specialties.
• Previous clinical teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a group of undergraduate nursing students (8-10) in clinical or Simulation Learning Center settings.
• Collaborate with Clinical Course Coordinator on lecture content, required clinical documentation, course goals and outcomes.
• Conduct midterm and final evaluations of students' progress in clinical settings.
