Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing required; PhD preferred.
• Active Nursing License in Florida without restrictions.
• Prior college teaching experience preferred; high level of computer literacy and commitment to teaching.
• All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mastery of their discipline and support Broward College's mission.
• Utilize teaching methods for varied academic levels and incorporate technology to facilitate learning.
• Address diverse learners with responsive pedagogical techniques across programs.
• Examine and adapt instructional practices to engage and support students.
• Engage in student consultation, course preparation, and syllabus development.
• Provide prompt and constructive feedback to students through office hours and assessments.
• Respond to student emails promptly.
• Adhere to reporting deadlines (grades, enrollment verification, syllabi, textbooks).
• Participate in service to the college and community.
