The Adjunct Faculty member for the Doctor of Health Administration (DHA) program at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC - Univ) will teach doctoral-level courses in a hybrid and/or online format, supporting students through applied research and scholarly dissemination.

This part-time, temporary position emphasizes high-quality instruction, evaluation of doctoral work, and collaboration with leadership to ensure academic rigor and alignment with program competencies.

Qualifications

• Earned terminal degree in a relevant healthcare/academic field.
• Demonstrated expertise in healthcare leadership, policy, and analytics.
• Experience with doctoral-level instruction and scholarly dissemination.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more doctoral-level courses per academic year (2–3 courses).
• Deliver high-quality hybrid/online instruction with engaging discussions.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
• Hold virtual office hours and maintain responsive student communication.
• Ensure course content aligns with program competencies and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Division Director and instructional design team for consistent quality.
• Participate in faculty orientation and training on hybrid/online pedagogy.
• Adhere to MUSC policies on integrity, accessibility, and inclusive teaching.
