Job summary

Moraine Valley Community College is seeking an Adjunct Summer-Fall 2026 Heating and Air Instructor for the HVAC program. This on-campus role offers part-time instruction and requires industry experience and/or teaching ability.

Responsibilities include delivering quality HVAC coursework, including sheet metal topics, supporting student success, and coordinating with the department chair to align with program goals.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree OR journeyman status in HAC related union as required.
• Minimum of five years experience in HVAC, or equivalent training and experience in non-union environment (min 2000 hours in HVAC field).
• Ability to teach sheet metal and other HVAC courses; prior teaching experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction to students and support college goals.
• Communicate with department chair or administrator.
• Prepare and deliver HVAC-related coursework including sheet metal.
