College of Lake County invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in HVAC/R Engineering Technology at the Grayslake Campus. The instructor will teach theory and installation techniques for HVAC/R, using a lab and classroom setting, and will develop syllabi, deliver lessons, and evaluate student progress during each semester.

Applicants should hold an associate degree or higher in HVAC/R or a related credential, with industry experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HVAC/R Technology or higher is required.
• Certificate in HVAC/R with additional industry experience may apply.
• EPA 608 industry certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach HVAC/R theory, principles and installation techniques to students.
• Develop and distribute a course syllabus and evaluate student progress.
• Deliver course content using varied teaching styles and maintain records.
• Participate in required adjunct meetings and college governance.
• Meet all classes as scheduled and submit grades electronically.
