Blue Collar Services seeks an experienced HVAC professional to become a part‑time instructor in Brockton, MA. Leverage real‑world expertise to teach installations, service, and troubleshooting in an evening classroom and hands‑on lab.

Curriculum and instructor training are provided; no teaching experience is required. You can continue in your current role while guiding aspiring technicians, with a favorable schedule Tue–Thu evenings.

Formación

• 3+ years of hands‑on HVAC industry experience.
• Massachusetts Oil Burner license or Refrigeration license, or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to connect with students at different skill levels.

Responsabilidades

• Teach practical HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and Troubleshooting.
• Demonstrate proper use of HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures.
• Share real‑world jobsite experiences, safety practices, and industry knowledge.
• Guide students through hands‑on training exercises.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll bring your real-world HVAC experience into a classroom and hands‑on training environment, helping students understand what it really takes to succeed in the trade.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teaching practical HVAC installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills
• Demonstrating proper use of HVAC tools, equipment, and diagnostic procedures
• Sharing real-world jobsite experiences, safety practices, and industry knowledge
• Guiding students through hands‑on training exercises
• Helping students prepare for industry certifications and future employment
• Encouraging and mentoring students as they develop their technical skills
• Working alongside an experienced education team to support student success

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who knows HVAC and enjoys sharing that knowledge with others.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands‑on HVAC industry experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Massachusetts Oil Burner License/Certificate or Refrigeration License, or willingness and ability to obtain the required credential within 90 days
• EPA Universal Certification preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and connect with students at different skill levels
• A genuine interest in helping others learn and succeed

No teaching degree or previous classroom experience required!

If you've ever trained an apprentice, helped a newer technician troubleshoot a system, or enjoyed showing someone how to do the job correctly, you may already have what it takes to become a great instructor.

Your Schedule

Part-Time | 12 Hours Per Week

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

6:00 PM–10:00 PM
