Piedmont Technical College invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach at the Lex D. Walters Campus or at one of the college’s six county centers in Laurens, Newberry, Edgefield, Saluda, Abbeville, and McCormick.

Opportunities may include daytime or evening courses, online instruction, and dual credit offerings at local high schools. Responsibilities include teaching to a diverse student body, utilizing instructional technology, and applying a variety of effective teaching

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work required.
• Master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a qualifying field or any combination of the qualifying fields.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse student body in accordance with established syllabi at various locations.
• Utilize instructional technology and deliver course instruction at daytime or evening classes, online, or dual credit courses.
• Plan, manage and deliver instruction; follow EPA and OSHA regulations pertaining to the program; participate in college functions; support continuous improvement of the program and college.
