Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in human services or MSW from a regionally accredited institution.
• Academic preparation appropriate to the program.
• Professional certification or licensure in the field; or two years of directly postmaster degree related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers assigned classes in accordance with college policy and course objectives.
• Makes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact learning and provide a positive Ivy Tech experience.
• Interacts with students and colleagues professionally and complies with college policies and campus guidelines.
• Ensures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and all learning environments.
