Job summary

Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood is accepting applications to build an active pool of Adjunct Faculty (temporary, part-time) instructors to teach at the Lex Walters Campus and six county centers. Opportunities may include daytime, evening, online, and dual credit courses.

Applications reviewed as teaching opportunities arise. Adjunct instructors teach diverse student bodies, utilize instructional technology, and prepare, deliver, and assess course instruction in accordance with syllabi

Qualifications

• Masters in Psychology or Social Work required, or Master's with 18 graduate hours in a qualifying field.
• Experience teaching in diverse settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse student body at multiple locations according to established syllabi.
• Utilize instructional technology in instruction.
• Plan, manage and deliver course instruction.
• Follow EPA and OSHA regulations for the program.
• Participate in college functions and support program and college improvement.
