Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking Part‑Time Faculty to teach courses in human development and family studies within the Department of Social Sciences. Candidates may teach in-person, online, or hybrid courses as vacancies arise, under the supervision of the Department Chair.

This pool supports a range of courses and staffing needs for TMCC’s programs. Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management or a closely related field.

• Master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• The desire to work with students, faculty, and staff from many different backgrounds.
• Departments strive to connect available courses with instructors’ unique expertise, and can often provide teaching materials.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content and assess student learning.
• Stay current in teaching field and maintain ethics and professional conduct.
• Actively refer students to supportive college resources and complete professional development.
