Related Affordable seeks a Part Time Occupancy and Recertification Specialist for our Hacienda property in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on resident certifications, rent calculations, and maintaining compliance for a 200-unit affordable community.

You will handle initial, interim, and annual certifications, ensuring accuracy and timely processing while supporting site operations and resident relations. A background in HUD/LIHTC policies is preferred and leasing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Section 8, LIHTC and HUD
• Knowledge of HUD/Public Housing/Tax Credit policies and procedures
• Detail oriented with deadline-driven schedule
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• 2-4 years leasing experience
• Commitment to exceed expectations and teamwork
• Diversity of thought and perspective is valued

Responsibilities

• Create welcoming experience for residents through daily interactions.
• Process certifications (initial, interim, annual) and calculate retroactive rent per guidelines.
• Collect documentation and process verifications from residents.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Complete tasks with minimal supervision from start to finish.
• Prioritize time to meet deadlines and expectations.
• Support site and office operations as assigned by manager.
