Job summary

UPS in the United States is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train workgroups, and uphold safety, production, and attendance standards. This role sets high performance expectations and builds strong cross-functional relationships across the station.

You will implement development plans, ensure orientation and coaching, and promote continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent; Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Package Handlers and train workgroups, holding them accountable for safety, production and attendance.
• Ensure employees follow safety policies and procedures and operate in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment emphasizing communication, cooperation and continuous improvement.
• Provide personal development plans, orientation, skills and safety training, and proactive coaching for department personnel.
