Job summary

Windham High School is seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year in Windham, NH. The role supports the wrestling program by teaching fundamental skills, strategy, and conditioning while promoting sportsmanship and student development.

Ideal candidates will have multiple years of coaching experience at the high school level or significant college/high school experience, with teaching certification preferred and CPR/First Aid plus NFHS/NH certifications required or

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of successful head coach experience at a high school, OR at least five (5) years as an assistant coach in college or high school is preferred.
• Secondary Teaching certification is preferred but not required.
• Must have or be able to acquire annual CPR/First Aid Certification along with NFHS and State of NH certifications.

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training for individual and team success.
• Ensure adherence to Windham School District and NHIAA rules, policies, and procedures.
• Foster moral values, discipline, sportsmanship, and service to others through coaching.
