Job summary

Windham Middle School is seeking qualified coaches for the 2026-2027 school year across Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Softball and Track. Positions are part-time and will involve instructing athletes in fundamentals, strategy and conditioning.

The ideal candidate has multiple years of head or assistant coaching experience, certification in CPR/First Aid, and NFHS/state NH certifications where possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years as head coach at middle school or five years as assistant coach at high school or middle school
• Teaching certification preferred but not required
• Must have or be able to acquire CPR/First Aid certification along with NFHS and State NH certifications

Responsibilities

• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training for team success
• Provide instruction that fosters moral values, pride, self-discipline, sportsmanship and service to others
• Follow Windham School District and Tri-County rules, policies and procedures
• Coaching for Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Softball and Track

The purpose of these positions is to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the students shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and service to others.

Job Summary: Windham Middle School is accepting applications for: Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Wrestling, Softball and Track

Qualifications: Ideal candidate(s) should have a minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in the respective sport as a head coach at or at a middle school, OR at least five (5) years of successful experience as an assistant coach infhigh school or middle school is preferred. Teaching certification is preferred but not required. Must have or be able to acquire annual CPR/First Aid Certification along with select NFHS and State of NH certifications, have a strong knowledge and commitment to following rules, expectations, policies, and procedures of the Windham School District and Tri-County.

Salary:In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement of the WEA.
