Rodeo Cannabis Co. in Sterling, CT seeks a Part-Time HR Coordinator to lead on-site HR operations at the manufacturing facility. You will manage attendance, run performance reviews, handle compliance, and provide discreet employee support to keep production running smoothly.

This hands-on role offers cross-training in cannabis branding and close collaboration with facility leadership and the VP of Operations, with weekday hours and a flexible, part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or a regulated environment preferred.
• Experience administering progressive discipline and performance conversations.
• Working knowledge of Connecticut and federal employment law basics.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• On-site lead for attendance and punctuality at the Sterling facility.
• Own the performance review process and assist with documentation and follow-up.
• Maintain CT DCP compliance, OSHA records, and employee files; ensure audit readiness.
• Cross-train on cannabis branding procedures and support branding submissions as needed.
• Provide day-to-day HR support and act as first point of contact for policy questions; assist payroll reconciliation.
