Rodeo Cannabis Co. in Sterling, CT seeks a Cannabis Branding Agent to own the approval process for new products at the Sterling facility. You will ensure brand names, labels, and packaging meet CT DCP requirements and are approved before market launch.

You’ll liaise with production, packaging, design, and compliance to keep launches on schedule and compliant. The role combines regulatory review, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain audit-ready records and timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's in business/marketing preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organization.
• Clear written and verbal communication with regulators.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CT DCP cannabis employee registration.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and submit brand name registrations and product label/packaging approvals to the Connecticut DCP for all new products from the Sterling facility.
• Review labels, packaging, and marketing copy for regulatory compliance, including warnings, potency, testing information, and youth-content restrictions.
• Track submissions from start to approval, follow up with regulators, and resolve any deficiencies quickly.
• Maintain a master log of approved brands, labels, and packaging so production uses current versions.
• Work with production, packaging, and design teams early to flag compliance issues before delays.
• Coordinate with lab and production to ensure label claims match final testing results.
• Monitor Connecticut cannabis regulations and update internal procedures and templates as rules change.
• Maintain organized, audit-ready records of submissions, approvals, and correspondence.
• Report regularly to leadership on approval status, timelines, and risks to launches.
