Island Hospitality Management is seeking a hands-on Part-Time Housekeeping Supervisor in New York. You will lead a housekeeping team, ensure cleanliness of guest rooms, and set a positive example for high standards.

Weekend scheduling must be available, and strong communication with other departments is essential for guest satisfaction. You will monitor room quality, train staff, and collaborate with maintenance and front desk to keep operations smooth.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Consistently provide excellent guest service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties: change sheets, towels, restock supplies, vacuum, dust, clean and tidy rooms after checkout.
• Deliver linens to the laundry department.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces daily to ensure brand and IHM standards are met.
• Train new housekeeping staff on service standards and brand promises.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs as needed.
• Monitor stock levels of consumables and replenish housekeeping carts.
• Notify supervisors of damages or disturbances and discuss with maintenance.
• Coordinate with front desk on rooms ready for check-in.
