Job summary

Distinctive Living is seeking a Part-Time Housekeeper for Mira Vie at West Milford Community. You will perform housekeeping and laundry for a managed community, including apartment and common area cleaning, carpet care, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and bathrooms, changing linens, and maintaining a safe, sanitary environment while respecting residents' privacy. Excellent communication with residents and supervisors is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned residences to perform cleaning of bathroom fixtures, floors, dusting, linen changes, bed making and related tasks.
• Maintain linen inventory and schedule weekly bedding changes.
• Interact with residents in a friendly manner and communicate health concerns to management.
• Keep common areas and residences clean, including entryways, corridors, and dining areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and safety procedures; observe HIPAA and safety regulations.
