Job summary

MSNW is hiring a Part-time Housekeeper and Laundry Aide to maintain clean, safe environments across client sites. The role requires reliability, a positive attitude, and physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs.

Background checks are required and transportation is needed. Shifts are Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay ranging from $16 to $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of standing and performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• 2+ years of cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize interiors, including floors, carpets, windows, and surfaces.
• Cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident rooms and common areas daily according to facility procedures.
• Performs laundry duties such as washing drying folding collecting and distributing facility linens and resident linens.
• Interacts appropriately with residents, families and other personnel.
• Relate to residents in a courteous, empathetic, and cooperative manner.
• Disinfect high-contact areas such as desks, door handles, and office equipment.
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and place orders as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
• Perform restroom cleaning and restock supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers when necessary.
• Report on safety issues or maintenance needs to supervisors.
• Complete cleaning tasks independently and on time.
