Job summary

Sage Haus LLC seeks a Part-Time House Manager / Family Assistant in Wilmette, IL. This role supports the household with meals, organization, errands, and light childcare tasks when needed. Flexible schedule, 15–20 hours per week, with anchor Mondays and daytime hours ending by 5:00 PM.

Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, and able to operate independently while maintaining a warm, calm home environment. CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain certification is required.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Smoke-free environment responsibility.
• Reliable personal transportation with mileage reimbursement.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Vaccinations up to date per AAC and CDC guidance.
• Ability to navigate stairs throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Meal preparation: 4–5 meals per week hot or ready to reheat.
• Household organization: develop and maintain systems room by room.
• Inventory and errands: restock pantry, manage lists, errands.
• Family support: light backup childcare and scheduling.
• Vehicle upkeep: coordinate maintenance and enrollment tasks.
• Deep cleaning and projects: periodic fridge/oven cleaning and repairs.
• Vendor oversight: coordinate home repairs and seasonal maintenance.
