Job summary

Mosaicms is seeking a Housekeeper for our senior living community in Surprise, AZ. You will help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents who call our community home.

The role involves cleaning resident apartments, common areas, and outdoor spaces, following schedules, adhering to infection control standards, and demonstrating patience and professionalism in interactions with residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and chemical safety.
• Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds routinely.
• Demonstrates patience, tact, and professionalism with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
• Familiarity with OSHA cleaning guidelines and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & sanitation of resident apartments, bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize common areas, offices, and entryways.
• Clean carpets and hard-surface floors according to schedule.
• Empty trash from apartments, bathrooms, offices, and common spaces.
• Clean patios, courtyards, sidewalks, and entryways to maintain neat appearance.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces per infection control standards.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all areas.
• Environmental maintenance support; maintain courtyard furniture and outdoor spaces.
