Job summary

PM-Hospitality-Strategies, Inc. is seeking a dependable Steward to join its Merced team. In this on-site role, you’ll stay active while supporting the service team by sorting, washing, and storing dishes and utensils and helping keep the dining area clean and sanitary.

High school diploma or equivalent is expected; prior food and beverage experience helps but is not required. You must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment and flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; prior food & beverage experience a plus but not required.
• Must be able to think on your feet and perform well in high-pressure situations.
• Be willing to be on your feet for long periods and to lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Sort and wash dirty and used dishes and utensils.
• Replace washed dishes and utensils in storage areas.
• Help keep the restaurant area sanitary and clean (sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning tables).
