Job description

Job Title:Hotel Night Auditor

Department: Front Desk

Reports to:Front Desk Manager

The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for posting room charges and taxes to guest accounts and verifying all account postings and balances made during the day.

  • Smile!
  • Focus on safety for yourself and others.
  • Monitors the current status of coupons, discounts, and other promotional programs.
  • Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
  • Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
  • Summarizes results of operations for management.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and questions.
  • Explain resort products, service, and other information about the resort as requested.
  • Provide guests with appropriate room assignments, wrist bands, directions to the rooms, while up selling when appropriate.
  • Verify payment for stay including incidental costs by obtaining credit information.
  • Assist guests with issues and complaints, with empathy and a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Accurate accounting of cash bank assigned to each agent.
  • Facilitate guest departures by providing accurate statements and ensuring guest satisfaction and collecting all payments due.

Is this the job for me:

  • Must be at least 18 years or older.
  • Available to work 11:00pm - 7:30am
  • Availability includes weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail and accurately perform complex calculations and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in computer programs.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to interact with guests, management, and other staff members.
  • Ability to answer guest inquiries throughout the shift.
  • Availability includes weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
  • Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
