Shaner Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our AC Hotel Columbus Dublin in Dublin, Ohio. This part-time role focuses on upkeep, preventative maintenance, and quick, courteous guest service in a dynamic hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of hotel maintenance experience, strong knowledge of refrigeration and ice machines, and the ability to read safety and maintenance documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in hotel maintenance or similar setting.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment used in building operations; safe handling and disposal of chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
• Clean criminal background check and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on hotel systems (ice machines, refrigeration, air handling units).
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment to minimize guest disruption.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and quality standards.
• Assist with inventories, maintenance scheduling, and required reporting.
