Shaner Hotels’ Fairfield Inn & Suites Dayton Downtown is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join our team in the Water Street District, Dayton, Ohio. The role focuses on upkeep, preventative maintenance, and guest-ready service for a busy hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has hotel maintenance experience, strong knowledge of mechanical equipment, and the ability to handle ice machines and refrigeration systems. Evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience preferably in a hotel.
• Franchised hotel experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of all mechanical equipment critical to building operation.
• Proper chemical handling and disposal knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units.
• Perform general maintenance tasks and respond to maintenance requests promptly.
• Prioritize tasks and interact positively with hotel personnel.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
