Job summary

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a Part Time Engineer to join the Engineering Team at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Bethesda. Carry a portable radio, respond to service calls, and keep hotel equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 6 months of related experience. You will perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems while supporting a collaborative, guest-service oriented team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent trade school.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar engineering role.
• Ability to maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing equipment and perform basic carpentry/renovation work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler and other systems.
• Monitor engineering functions, respond to emergencies, and document any issues and parts used.
• Maintain logs, complete work orders, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
