Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach is seeking a part-time Dishwasher/Kitchen Steward to keep the dish area clean and support banquet plating as needed. You will operate the dish machine, wash glasses and pots, and help maintain a spotless kitchen.

Starting pay is $12.78 per hour. The role requires team collaboration, reliability, and the ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• High work ethic and self-initiative.
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment.
• Frequent fine motor skills and ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly utilize and maintain dish machine.
• Wash glasses and dishes in standard dish rack.
• Wash pots and pans in the pot washer's area.
• Keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times; sweep/mop spills.
• Empty and sanitize trash cans; replace bags after use.
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines.
• Assist with plating banquet events when needed.
