Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach is seeking a hospitality-minded part-time dishwasher to support our kitchen team. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, efficient dish area, washing glassware and cookware, and helping with banquet events as needed.

Starting pay is $12.78 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to a positive guest experience. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong work ethic, can handle varying schedules including nights and weekends, and supports a clean, safe kitchen

Qualifications

• High work ethic and self-initiative
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in a standard office environment
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Occasional standing and walking throughout the workday
• Frequent fine motor skills, use of hands and fingers for keyboarding/typing, utilizing a mouse or trackpad, writing

Responsibilities

• Use established guidelines to correctly operate and maintain dish equipment and wash glasses and dishes in standard dish racks
• Wash pots and pans in the pot washer area
• Keep the kitchen neat and clean at all times (sweeping, mopping, removing broken glass)
• Empty and sanitize trash cans after use; replace bags in containers
• Follow MSDS protocols and safety guidelines
• Assist with plating banquet events when needed
