Job summary

The Hyatt Place in downtown Greensboro is looking for a part-time bartender through Carroll Hospitality. You will craft classic and innovative drinks, provide friendly guest service, and ensure guests have an exceptional experience.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED with bartending experience in hospitality. Strong English communication and a positive attitude are essential. Flexible hours and a guest-focused environment await at this eager, team-oriented venue.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years’ experience or equivalent.
• Previous bartending experience in a hotel/hospitality environment preferred.
• Trustworthy, punctual, positive attitude with attention to detail and commitment to high-quality customer service.
• Strong verbal, written, and reading English communications skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Plan and present bar menu; take accurate orders and provide high-quality service and verify identification in accordance to state/federal laws.
• Will be required to cook on an as-needed basis.
• Assess guests needs and preferences, making recommendations/accommodations, as needed.
• Collect payment, balance receipts, and run reports following hotel policies and procedures.
• Manage, restock, and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Always maintain bar area for cleanliness and appearance.
• Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
• Other duties, as assigned by Management.
