Job summary

Brio Living Services in Chelsea, MI is seeking a Hospitality Aide for a part-time shift (12p-8:30p). The role supports residents with transportation to meals and activities, responds to call lights, and provides companionship while helping keep rooms clean and stocked.

You will assist with dining services, restock supplies, and follow safety protocols to maintain a welcoming, safe environment. The position offers weekend/holiday rotations and opportunities for growth through our benefits program.

Qualifications

• Follow directions effectively: read, write, understand and carry out instructions.
• Stay active on the job: physical tasks like standing, walking, bending and lifting.
• Meet physical requirements: lift/move up to 35 pounds.
• Work in a team environment: cooperate with residents and team members.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Resident Support – transport residents to meals, activities, and other areas as needed.
• Offer Companionship – provide one-on-one support and meaningful interaction with residents.
• Respond to Call Lights – address resident needs within scope and communicate with the care team.
• Assist with Room Upkeep – keep resident rooms clean, organized, and stocked.
• Support Housekeeping Needs – make beds, change linens, remove trash and soiled items.
• Assist with Dining Services – deliver/collect trays, refill water, provide snacks.
• Maintain Equipment & Supplies – clean equipment and restock supplies.
• Promote a Safe Environment – follow safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
• Support Team Operations – assist team members for daily operations.
• Communicate & Document – share updates with care team and remain professional.
