Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Security Officer in Delray Beach, FL to patrol and safeguard patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location. The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to restrain individuals, and compliance with hospital vaccination requirements.

You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to emergencies, and maintain detailed incident reports while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
