Job summary

Tarian is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer in Utah for a part-time role. You will support safety and security operations through patrols, monitoring, access control, and assisting customers within a hospital setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining security for staff, patients, and visitors, and supervising at-risk individuals. A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required; a high school diploma or GED is required along with any licensure as needed.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving guidelines if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and safety of the hospital, staff, patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illicit activity.
• Provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
