Job summary

Tarian Group is seeking a Healthcare Security Officer to protect patients, staff, and visitors in a hospital setting. You will patrol, monitor access, and assist customers while upholding the client’s safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining security, deterrence of illegal activities, and supporting site-specific requirements. A pre-employment check and licensure as required are part of the process.

Qualifications

• A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required for this position upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian's company driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

Responsibilities

• Our Healthcare Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors – and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
