Job summary

Allied Universal in Baltimore, MD is seeking a part-time Security Officer for Hospital Patrol. You will provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while maintaining a visible security presence in a healthcare environment.

The role offers flexible daytime and overnight shifts, a schedule that you can tailor, and opportunities to grow within a nationwide security team. A minimum of two years in security, a HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established protocols.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
