Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time) in Baltimore, MD to safeguard clients across healthcare and other settings. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule and opportunities to grow within a leading security company. Pay rate is $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

Minimum two years of security-related experience.
Hospital vaccination requirements must be met.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen as per law.
State/local licensing may be required.
Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to identify and report hazards or policy concerns.
Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and professionally following site protocols.
Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures to maintain orderly access.
Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate information to site leadership and emergency responders.
