Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Weekend Hospital Patrol Driver in Memphis, TN. This part‑time role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, supporting a stable income and hands-on experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include patient, visitor, staff, and contractor service, access control, incident response, and routine patrols of healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established facility procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
