Job summary

Allied Universal in Denver, CO is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for hospital deescalation patrol. You will provide a visible security presence, assist patients and staff, and respond to incidents in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical‑related field.
• Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories as per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and adherence to site requirements.
• Complete required reports, logs, and documentation for incidents and patrols.
