Qualifications

• One year of hospital or other institutional cleaning.
• Basic reading, writing, mathematics documentation skills.
• Ability to follow and issue instructions; train and evaluate subordinates.
• Ability to work around sick people and in contaminated areas.

Responsibilities

• Schedule employees; assign and supervise staff responsible for cleaning of assigned areas.
• Orient new employees; train, monitor and evaluate training of new employees.
• Monitor employee performance; prepare and sign evaluations; counsel staff.
• Assists in inspecting areas to ensure compliance with environmental standards; may hire temporary staff.
